Role Description
Panosec is seeking IT interns & graduates to join our engineering, architecture, development and support team for client projects and managed services. We are looking to fill multiple roles for multiple client projects. Most roles are hybrid, but we do have a few remote positions available. Hybrid means 2-3 days/week onsite in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi (depending on client and project needs). For interns, other than basic allowances to cover your expenses, this is an unpaid opportunity.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, ensuring endpoint security, and managing cloud security solutions. Daily tasks will include maintaining and optimising cloud infrastructure, performing routine security and system monitoring, resolving technical issues promptly, and collaborating with other IT & cybersecurity professionals to ensure seamless operations. You’ll also be responsible for building and maintaining websites and web applications, SEO, etc.
You will spend a lot of your time learning new hard and soft skills and applying those skills under the direct mentorship of our highly technical and experienced Australian CTO/CISO.
For interns, there will be more vacancies for junior engineers in the team in 2026, which means if you’re selected for this opportunity you will have a distinct advantage when applying for those roles.
Qualifications
- Anything that demonstrates formal training in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity.
- We are also interested in meeting university graduates of hard sciences like mechanical engineering, physics or maths who are interested in a career in IT.
- Anything that demonstrates you’ve already done a lot of tinkering with technology.
- You will need your own Windows, MacOS or Linux laptop.
- Some roles are hybrid, 2-3 days onsite in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi (depending on project and client needs).
- Some roles are remote, but your timezone must be compatible with Dubai, and our work days Monday-Friday.
- Arabic speaker is a plus, but not mandatory.
